Inspiration

This is one of my favourite models, Charlotte, she is absolutely gorgeous and nobody can deny that. She is with a London, UK agency called Storm Models. Her work is inspiring and cannot wait for what is next. Why is she inspiring? Well, one she books all these high fashion jobs and her measurements are identical to mine, except her height, she is one inch taller, 5'8. I'll say one last thing, picture one that gold belt holding up her high-waisted pants are definitely inspiring, I am going to make something like that for sure.

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Tabula Rasa SS11 Editorial

Here is three pictures from the Tabula Rasa SS11 Editorial. Tabula Rasa means a clean slate, a new beginning and a young mind that is not affected by life experiences and impressions. As said by the owner, Jennifer Park, the fairly new store that has been situated at Broadview and Danforth for about just a new year now. The store carries new fashion from upcoming designers, but carries exceptional vintage clothing. The owner alters some of the clothes as well. I got exposed to this wonderful boutique about a year ago from my fashion frenzy friend Jasmine. She works there :)

As the weather gets warm the editorials come out and the clothes get nicer! I am feeling this collection so badly, I need those orange high-waisted shorts in my wardrobe, right now. This spring and summer is clearly gonna be filled with a lot of colour and just spaz, if that makes any sense. The dress in picture 2 is a must-have with all the range of colours and I love heart shaped dresses <3. The editorial is so dope, I know where all those locations are.. crazy. I need to move out of this area, it is too much deja vu. Soon enough, but I will miss the suckers candy, that the model is standing in front of ;). This editorial is Candy colour fashion.

So my friend Anna W and I went down to the Toronto Beaches near her place to shoot. We went on a semi warm day. The waters are so nice right now, it doesn't even look like a lake. It looks like Costa Rican waters or something, it was so clear and beautiful. Maybe we were in Costa Rica, who knows ha. The indoor pictures were taken in her house. Absolutely love the shirt I call "Leopard Peace", it fits big, but it's so sick. My favourite shirt right now. I love how the peace sign is filled in with the body of the leopard, a little leopard for thought eh?!? It's always nice shooting with a friend, Anna is an amazing photographer, she just has that natural eye for the best shots! Watch out for our next collaboration for Queens, NY print magazine, it's gonna be dope!
